HI! My name is Amanda and am a Lansing-local. Over the last year I have gotten extremely passionate about photographing births. The rawness, the sacred space, the emotion. It was like nothing else I'd ever photographed.

I decided to take that passion for birth a step further and got BEST Doula certified. Not only am I able to document your labor and birth journey, but I can now also provide unmatched support, whether you are birthing at home, at the hospital or in a birthing center.

Why might you want the support of a doula at your birth? Long answer short; to make sure your voice is heard during your birth and you have the experience you want and are prepared if not everything goes to plan. And not only do I offer support to you but also to your partner.

Most of the comments I have heard from past clients have said having photos of their birth is something they would treasure forever. These are moments that go so fast and are worthy of being remembered.

And get to know your doula/photographer before-hand! Interview a few and make sure you feel comfortable with who you chose. Labor and birth are both so vulnerable.
